Lindsay Rose: fashion is my boyfriend. i love: dressing like a 3 year old,multi-color, glitter, accessories, and comfortable glamour. It's tough to try not to blend in, but I'm working on it. Some inspirations are tokyo street fashion + Tavi Gevinson. Some designers I admire are Betsey Johnson, Anna Sui, Commes des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto, Wunderland, Vivienne Westwood, Jeremy Scott, Mondo, L.A.M.B.,Kenzo, Junya Wanatame, h.naoto, sacai, Marc Jacobs, Meadham Kirchhoff, and Rodarte. I am still learning and my passion is growing. I feel that beyond the elitist attitudes of the industry - the brand names, the judgements of: "Well that doesn't look good", is a world where anything you want to wear, you can. I think people who are accepting of others' outrageous fashion choices are more welcoming people in other ways, as well. The common misconception is that fashion is a shallow interest - o contraire! it is one that allows people to feel comfortable with who they are, and isn't that what living is all about?
